We’re Hiring Peer Mentors!

Are you interested in becoming a Parent Mentor for the 2026–2027 school year?

CNAS Transfer Connections is seeking dedicated student leaders to support transfer students through mentorship, workshops, and community events. This paid role helps you build leadership and professional skills while making an impact.

Priority consideration will be given to applications submitted by March 23rd.

Job Details

7–8 Open Positions
$17.99/hour
Start Date: Fall 2026
Maximum 10 hours per week

Responsibilities

Assist current and prospective transfer students
Help plan workshops, social events, and faculty mixers
Provide one-on-one mentorship
Represent CNAS at outreach events
Participate in peer committees (newsletter, marketing, outreach)
Attend required training sessions

Who can apply

CNAS major
Good academic standing
90 units completed (at least 1 quarter of coursework for transfers)
Transfer students encouraged, but not required

Application Materials

Professional resume (work, volunteer, research experience)
1 UCR faculty or staff reference (name, title, contact info)
Half-page, double-spaced letter of interest
